Since the beginning of Donald Trump’s presidency, he has been open about his lack of support when it comes to immigration. As we’ve seen President Trump make it harder for immigrants time after time, he has recently announced his plan to end the DACA Program, also known as the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.

On Thursday, June 18th, 2020, justices ruled President Trump’s bid “unlawful” and violating the Administrative Procedure Act which then was declined.

Plans are put in place and changing immigration frequently so it’s important to stay in top of these matters to make sure YOU aren’t affected!

What is DACA?

This 2012 executive order, created by former President Obama, shields about 650,000 so-called “Dreamers”. The DACA Program which was announced and started on June 15th, 2012 has offered support to qualifying immigrants who came to the United States when they were children. Specifically, it temporarily shields these individuals from facing deportation, provides work permits, and study permits.
