Express Entry Next Draw Date 2024

Next Express Entry Draw 2022

When Will the Next Express Entry Draw for 2024 Be?

The Canadian government and IRCC will typically have Express Entry draws every 2 weeks on a Wednesday. However, since the new Canada category-based occupation draws have taken place, Express Entry draws have been significantly less predictable. There is no longer a consistent pattern for when a draw will take place, the sort of draw, the amount of ITAs, or the CRS cut-offs. That being said, our best prediction for the next Express Entry draw date is May 23, 2024.

The frequency of every two weeks might change but a minimum of two express entry draws occur in a month. There are some occurrences when a PNP or all programs draw has been done on a Wednesday, the next day there is a CEC or priority occupations following that later in the week. The latest Express Entry Draw was #294 on April 24th, 2024. The 294th draw offered 1,400 ITA to those with a cut-off CRS score of 410. This was a French language proficiency draw.

What Time of Day is the Express Entry Draw Announced?

There is no exact set time of day Express Entry draws happen, but we typically see that they are announced every other Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoon, sometime after 3 pm EST.

Will the Next Draw Be a CEC Draw? Is There Going to Be a CEC Draw in 2024?

The next draw will most likely be another all programs draw, PNP draw, or priority occupations draw as that is what we have been seeing since July 2022. The last CEC only draw occurred on September 14, 2021. We have not seen any CEC draws take place in 2022-2024 so far.

Because Canadian experience is a crucial qualifying element, the majority of CEC applicants in the Express Entry pool apply from within the country. Candidates for the CEC must have one year of full-time Canadian work experience in a skilled field.

How to Prepare for the Next Express Entry Draw

If you are already in the Express Entry pool then you are just waiting for the next draw that fits your CRS score.

If you were just invited with the last Express Entry draw then you have 60 days to submit your application for permanent residence!

Calculate Your CRS Score with the CRS Calculator

VisaPlace has created a CRS calculator. Speak with Cris, the CRS calculator bot, to find out what your estimated CRS score is.

Once you determine your CRS score you will know your eligibility for Express Entry based on the minimum CRS score on previous Express Entry draws.

How We Can Help You Get Into Express Entry in 2024

The most important aspect of the Express Entry Program is to provide complete and accurate information/documentation and get an ITA. Without an invitation, you are unable to apply for permanent residence through the Express Entry Program. To receive an invitation, you have to be selected from a pool of applicants who are competing for an invitation.

Our job is to make your profile STAND OUT from the crowd. We will assess your case, highlight the best aspects of your application, and make sure that you have obtained the highest eligible score! This way, your chances of getting an invitation are maximized.

Bansuri was very helpful in explaining the reason she was asking me certain questions about my upcoming appointment. She was polite, clear and persuasive – excellent qualities for someone who does her job, and really a great first impression for The visa Place. Thank you, Bansuri.

My interaction with Brenda was cordial and professional, she understood what I needed and made sure that I got all my questions answered. Dumb thing to say maybe but I felt her smile coming through the phone. Thank you Brenda!

Thank you for guiding us through this complicated process. Although the first part of our process with Visaplace we felt was slow, they turned it around. In the end we had a good experience with their attorney, she was determined to get it right and deserves to be commended.

I was very pleased with the service provided to me by VisaPlace. Felicita was professional and persistent, even contacting my employer to help fill out the Employer Portal. She went the extra mile and prepared a package of forms and documentation that let my wife and I breeze through the Canada Border Services process and be issued Canadian work permits.I feel I definitely got my money’s worth with these people.

Successfully obtained my US L1 Visa thanks to Visaplace. We had some problems with document retrieval at first but they’d been there before and guided us through. Highly recommended.
