What you get with Visa Consult

What is VisaScore360™?

It’s VisaPlace’s unique scoring system for evaluating YOUR prospects for immigration to Canada. The score report you receive is designed to give you a general sense of your eligibility for different streams of Canadian immigration. *

Your VisaScore360™ report can help indicate if you’re a good candidate for immigration to Canada. An IRCC licensed lawyer or VisaPlace immigration professional can review your VisaScore report and explain more about the specifics of your eligibility for immigration to Canada. They can outline what you would need to do in order to have the best chance of success.

As the system learns about you and your intended immigration path, it will determine and generate a score on a scale of 0 to 360 based on how closely you meet important criteria for your chosen visa path. The score report is based on three factors: Human/Core Factors, Visa Programm, and Inadmissibility Factors. You may also see specific comments and notes about your eligibility on report. *

No, VisaScore360™ is not used by the IRCC or any other government institutions and has no affiliation with the Canadian government. It is provided by VisaPlace based on our experience and data evaluating immigration visa eligibility.

Yes, they are different. The CRS scoring system is used by the IRCC and by Canadian provinces to select candidates for permanent residence in Canada. You can determine your CRS score using our CRS Score Calculator.

We consider scores above 252 as a good score, but it’s important to remember that scores don’t necessarily indicate a successful or unsuccessful visa application. People with low scores may have a chance to improve or even choose a different immigration path that may be more successful. For a variety of reasons, it’s also possible that people with high scores may not have their applications approved by the Canadian government. A VisaPlace immigration professional can help you understand more about your eligibility.

No. However, getting your VisaScore is the first step towards improving your changes because it will provide you with important insights into your eligibility for success and will direct to you to resources that can help and improve your case.

No it isn’t. Only dealing with a licensed lawyer or immigration consultant, one on one, is where you can obtain legal advice. However, you can and should share your VisaScore with a licensed professional which may help them better assess your case and to point you in the right direction. VisaPlace deals only with experienced immigration professionals who may be able to assist you.

When you get the opportunity to go to the US for work from abroad, then I would say VisaPlace would be your best option to get all your documents in place. My 5 star feedback is based on the help I received from Danielle Grbic as she was really professional, I would straight away ask for Danielle to be in charge of your process. From the time that Danielle took over my case I felt confident that it will go well and at the end it went smoother than expected. On my own I would never have been able to get this internal work transfer done as a L1 visa and was best for the professionals to take charge. After arriving in the US, Danielle was still happy to assist with documents and advise. A huge thanks to Danielle and VisaPlace

I spoke with Lilly last week and she’s incredible. Very informative and you can tell she definably cares about her job. She wasn’t pushy at all and she’s there to help you figure out if this service is right for you. I’d recommend contacting VisaPlace if you’re thinkin of traveling internationally and you have questions about the different types of permits.

I had a great experience with Andrew Diamond from The Visa Place. Andrew was very knowledgable and helped us every step of the way. When we had a discrepancy with my spouse’s Visa Andrew helped us navigate the system in the USA. He even offered to speak directly to the customs and border control officer to help us iron out the situation. Overall the experience was very good and smooth. I highly recommend Andrew and his services at The Visa Place.

Extremely satisfied with the professionalism, expertise, efficiency, speed and thoroughness at which my file was managed. Fadi & Danielle are true class acts! Their response times were fantastic (especially during a high-stress period), their quality of work was phenomenal, and their willingness to go the extra mile (without hidden costs, no less!) to prepare me for my work permit interview was unmatched. I strongly recommend VisaPlace to anyone seeking legal counsel as it relates to cross-border services. Highest Regards, Krista

Very good personal experience with this law firm. I am a Canadian and had overstayed a visa in the US and received a bar. Attorneys and staff were extremely knowledgeable. I was given accurate information with no false hopes. My case was completed and approved 3 months faster than expected. Overall, very satisfied with this firm and would highly recommend them. When you are in need of immigration assistance, it can be grave and critical to get help from someone who can be trusted – this firm is certainly trustworthy and will do whatever they can to get your case approved.

EDIT: Another great experience 5 years later with waiver renewal/lifting of my bar from the US. Very reasonable fees for the challenge of dealing with US immigration during Covid and new immigration laws. Another successful outcome with only a minor snag (not related to lawfirm). My bar was lifted and I am now free to travel to the US at will. Very satisfied.

Literally the best immigration law firm. I was in touch with Nadia and although there were some delays in submitting my application initially (through no fault of Nadia or anyone at the firm) it has been genuinely such a great experience. Nadia guided me through every step of the way and was punctual, friendly and charismatic. She helped me with my work permit and my permanent residence application. She answered every single question promptly and with great knowledge on the matter! Literally stuck through me through the toughest time of my life and told me I’ll be okay. You don’t get this anywhere else! Tons of love to you guys! 10/10 would recommend

What is a CRS Score?

The CRS is a points-based system that the Canadian government uses to assess and score your profile and rank it in the Express Entry pool. This Express Entry Calculator tool lets you estimate your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for Express Entry immigration to Canada.

Top Questions about CRS Scores

What is a Good CRS Score?

You can check out our Express Entry page where we list the previous minimum CRS scores.

You will want to be above the minimum CRS score.

Typically CRS scores for Express Entry draws range from 350-770 for the minimum score on Express Entry Draws.

Is 450 a Good CRS Score?

It can be! A 450 score is on the lower end of the CRS score scale but there are many draws that will qualify you for Express Entry.

Our best advice is to improve your CRS score as much as possible to give you the best opportunity to be picked.

Will CRS Drop in 2021?

We have been seeing the CRS score alternating between high and low during 2021. We can expect the minimum CRS score to drop at some point and then rise again.

Typically, in Decemeber the CRS score for the last Express Entry draws of the year are lower than previous months.

Will CRS Drop in 2022?

Canada wants to attract more qualified candidates for Canadian immigration. This could indicate that the minimum CRS score will increase. Although this is not for certain we suggest you speak with an immigration consultant to help prepare your perfect Express Entry application.

How to Calculate CRS Score?

Use our CRS Calculator to get a free estimate of your CRS score!

If you'd like to go into more detail on your CRS score then you can book a consultation with our immigration specialists.

  • Core Human Capital Factors
  • Spouse or Common-Law Factors
