These changes aim to address the agency’s operational and financial challenges. The new fees took effect on April 1, 2024, applying to all applications postmarked after this date.

Employment-Based US Visa Fee Changes
Alongside family-based immigration, there will also be an increase in fees for work visa categories and employment-based green cards starting April 1.
