Happy 2012 Thanksgiving to our Immigration Clients and Friends!

Thanksgiving is upon us once again, and as per usual we have a lot to be thankful for.

In Canada, thanksgiving is traditionally associated with celebrating a bountiful harvest. While aboriginal groups in Canada were celebrating this way for a long time before European settlers showed up, the first Canadian Thanksgiving is said to have been held in Newfoundland to celebrate safe passage home.

It’s not coincidence that the same safe passage meaning is relevant to many newcomers in Canada. Thanksgiving has a huge meaning to many new Canadians and recent immigrants to Canada, many of whom have home countries that do not have anywhere near the same freedoms and opportunities that Canada offers. Many are truly thankful just to have the opportunity to be here, and many begin celebrating Thanksgiving along with other aspects of Canadian culture.

Happy Thanksgiving from Niren and Associates!

Spectacular experience. Completely smooth process, they were able to answer any of my questions any time and I had peace of mind throughout the application time, which was invaluable. I have recommended them to other friends looking for assistance with their applications, and will continue to do so. Worth every penny.
