I am getting worried, we applied for Visa since May 16 and until now no feedback. Details: my son applied for student visa and I applied also for visiting as accompanying parent to help him settle down and will be staying for 3 weeks and he is to resume on the 26th of August ( this month) and now nothing. My question is how long does a standard processing visa take from date of submission? This is taking unnecessarily too long and I am not comfortable with that anymore

I applied for a study permit from Rwanda at the end of March, 2017. I was asked to go for medicals and produce proof of fund transfer due to currency restrictions in Nigeria. I am on a departmental funding from the grants secured by my supervisor from the Canadian Space Agency at a level of $22,000 per year. I have submitted the proof first time and I do not know what to do again as I am not a self funded student.
