Tammy Truong received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law in 2017 and her Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) majoring in Human Resources Management from Ryerson University. During her undergraduate studies, Tammy received the Dean’s Honour List award for her academic achievements. In law school, Tammy was actively involved in volunteerism by acting as the Director of Communication for the Employment and Labour Law Student Society, mentoring first year law students and assisting unrepresented civil litigants with court proceedings at Law Help Ontario. Tammy is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
Tammy’s practice focuses on a broad range of corporate immigration law matters. She can assist clients by advising and preparing various Canadian immigration applications including LMIA, LMIA-exempt, Intra-company Transfers (ICT), NAFTAs, Work Permits, Study Permits, Visitor Visa (TRV), Express Entry, etc. She is diligent, client-focused and has strong communication and time-management skills. Tammy believes in adding value and finding cost-effective solutions for her clients.
In her spare time, Tammy enjoys traveling, marathon running and spending time with her family, friends and shih-tzu Dino.
Tammy is currently an Associate Lawyer and Team Leader for VisaPlace's affiliate, Niren and Associates (MHNPC). She can assist clients in English and Vietnamese.
