Presently, Nova Scotia’s Labour Market Priorities stream is targeting early childhood teachers and assistants on August 8th. Successful candidates will be invited to apply for provincial nomination.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
Nova Scotia is looking for candidates that have a minimum of two years work experience in the National Occupational Classification 4214. The first draw, August 8th, will specifically be looking for early childhood educators. However, later draws may target other teaching positions.
How Can I Be Nominated?
In order to be considered, the applicant must demonstrates that they have:
- An Express Entry Account
- A letter of interest from the Nova Scotia Nominee program within the Express Entry system
- Met the minimum work experience requirements
- Sufficient funds
- Legal status in their home country
How Do I Get a Letter of Interest (LOI)?
LOI’s will be issued on August 8th, 2018 to candidates in the Express Entry pool that have work experience in NOC 4214, along with early childhood educators and assistants. Candidates who are invited to apply must proved letters of reference that prove that the applicant had met the work requirements.
What Do I Do If I Am Nominated?
If you are nominated by the program and receive a LOI, you will need to apply online. After you have submitted an application, you will need to look for a job in Nova Scotia.
