Additional information about this Canadian Embassy in Malaysia:

Malaysia and Canada have a long history of friendly trade, politics and cultural relations. Many immigrants, students, visitors and workers come to Canada from Malaysia to live, work and study, and many Canadians visit Malaysia. Malaysia and Canada cooperate together through several international initiatives such as the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation.

Should You Contact a Lawyer First…?

It is important to remember that when applying for Canadian Immigration, you are required to submit your application to the Canadian Embassy of your nationality. However, there are some exceptions to this rule. You should always contact an immigration lawyer to assist you with the procedures associated with the Canadian Embassy of your region because the Canadian Embassy in Malaysia may have its own set of special rules and procedures.

Hello. The person who is visiting will be required to show that they have sufficient funds to support themselves during their stay. A visitor visa is one of the most difficult to obtain because the reviewing officer needs to make 100% certain that you will return home after your visit. Many people who attempt to apply on their own, face the risk of rejection if they get something wrong on the application. If you need help with your applications to make sure that you are not making any mistakes, and so that you will have a legal team taking care of all the matters that may arise, then please contact us to book a consultation with one of our immigration professionals. I’m a permanent resident residing in Toronto and I’m waiting to receive my renewed PR card which is expected to be ready towards the end of April but I do need to travel back to Malaysia by the end of April meaning I will not have a valid PR card to return to Canada. I was told by Case Processing Center – Permanent Resident Card at Sydney that I could apply return travel document at Canadian visa office at Kuala Lumpur which please confirm before my departure for Malaysia.

      Hello,

Thanks for the message. You could elect to go to Citizenship and Immigration Canada with relevant information. Anyone who misrepresents information and enters a fraudulent marriage for the purpose of obtaining immigration benefits will likely be deported. There could also be criminal charges for the Canadian citizen depending on the circumstances.

      Hello Shaun,

Thank you for your recent post.

      To visit Canada, you must:

have a valid travel document, such as a passport,
      be in good health,
convince an immigration officer that you have ties—such as a job, home, financial assets or family—that will take you back to your home country,
convince an immigration officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your visit, and
have enough money for your stay. (The amount of money you will need can vary. it depends on things like how long you will stay, and whether you will stay in a hotel or with friends or relatives.)

      You may also need a:

temporary resident (visitor) visa, depending on your citizenship (see Find out if you need a visa),
      medical exam and
letter of invitation from someone who lives in Canada.

If you would like to speak to one of our Canadian Immigration Specialists about your case, please fill out this Free Online Eligibility Assessment Form: http://www.visaplace.com/canadian-immigration/temporary-visas/work-permits/. Once you submit your information, someone from our office will be in contact within 24 hours.

      Hello Aleysia
Thank you for your question. In order to work in Canada, you first need a job offer. Once you have a job offer you can then consider applying for a work visa depending on your qualifications and the employers need to hire a foreign worker. I would suggest contacting a lawyer once you have a job offer in order to perform an assessment of you case. Good Luck
