Canada Day is a special day for us but especially for those who have left their home, jobs and family for a better life here. Whether they come for work, study or for permanent settlement in Canada, these immigrants have chosen Canada as their destination of choice.
Often I find immigrants as the most patriotic of Canadians as they know how good they have it here in Canada. And after all, it is immigrants that make Canada what it is today. We are lucky to live here and I am very privileged and honoured to have helped thousands of families come to our shores. I look forward to many more opportunities to help.
