Additional information about this Canadian Embassy in South Africa:
The Canadian Embassy in South Africa is also responsible for immigration and visitor visa applications to Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

In the 2006 Canadian census, about 10,000 people were identified as recent immigrants from South Africa and approximately 6% of Canada’s African community identifies as South African. However this number may actually be larger, as half of Canada’s African population simply identifies as “African”.

Should You Contact a Lawyer First…?

It is important to remember that when applying for Canadian Immigration, you are required to submit your application to the Canadian Embassy of your nationality. However, there are some exceptions to this rule. You should always contact an immigration lawyer to assist you with the procedures associated with the Canadian Embassy of your region because the Canadian Embassy in South Africa may have its own set of special rules and procedures.

    Hello,

I have a question for Supervisa my parents applied for supervisa in Pretoria in March 2016 to come to visit us in Montreal, Canada but till now nothing from the visa office. They undergoes the medical exam my mum on April 29th and my dad on May 12th but since then we are still waiting. It’s 2 months already for my mum and my dad almost two months since they did the medical and reports and doctor confirmed medical is ok.
We are vey stressed and worried they were supposed to travel on june 3rd.

Could you please help me do you know why they are taking so long to give the visa, do you have an idea how they process , what they do after medical results ? Do you know what should i do , because my dad send the enquiry form but nobody answers.

    Thank you for your response.

Hi,my name is Lawrence,I would like to immigrate to Canada with my family due to trauma experienced on regular basis as far as crime is concerned,I have learned that Canada is one of the safest countries in the world and cant bear the reality of fear everytime we leave our home and even in our home. Please advise me because there are lot of scams that I have heard about and rather deal with Canadian Embassy directly to avoid these scams because money is involved. Thanks

      Hello Lawrence,

Thank you for your inquiry. I am sorry to hear about any hardship that you and your family are experiencing. Canada is one of the safest places to live, and I would encourage anyone facing situations where they feel their basic human right is violated to immigrate here. I would be more than happy to assess your eligibility and advise you on your options…but in order for me to do so, I must first learn more details about you. Kindly complete this form for me http://www.visaplace.com/immigration-assessment/ as it will give me the information I need to proceed. You will be contacted once it has been reviewed. MF

      Hello Niel

Thank you for the question. Where did you do this eligibility test? I do not trust them to be honest. We can perform an assessment to see if you do in fact qualify. If you do we or another immigration law firm can help.

      Hello Brice

You can apply for a visitor visa at the Canadian Embassy but they would have to asses your case to see if they believe you will return back after your visit is finished in Canada.

      Hello Norman

We are immigration lawyers, not the Canadian government. You can contact the Embassy in Pretoria for details about how to deliver your TRV. Or you can get a lawyer to represent you.
