The Canadian Embassy in South Africa is also responsible for immigration and visitor visa applications to Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

In the 2006 Canadian census, about 10,000 people were identified as recent immigrants from South Africa and approximately 6% of Canada’s African community identifies as South African. However this number may actually be larger, as half of Canada’s African population simply identifies as “African”.

    I have the visa forms required to apply for temporary visa to visit Canada .When all compiled and complete may I deliver the pack to the visa office in Pretoria?Do I have to make an appointment?Please advise your office hours.

    We are immigration lawyers, not the Canadian government. You can contact the Embassy in Pretoria for details about how to deliver your TRV. Or you can get a lawyer to represent you.

    Thank you for the question. Where did you do this eligibility test? I do not trust them to be honest. We can perform an assessment to see if you do in fact qualify. If you do we or another immigration law firm can help.

    You can apply for a visitor visa at the Canadian Embassy but they would have to asses your case to see if they believe you will return back after your visit is finished in Canada.
