Work and Travel Options for IEC Canada
There are three available work and travel options for those looking to spend up to two years in Canada:
- Working Holiday – This program grants temporary employment permits to young individuals aged 18 to 35 from more than 30 countries.
- Young professionals – This category is an employer-specific work visa for individuals who have a job offer in Canada before arrival. It also allows persons who have previously visited Canada on an IEC working holiday visa to return to work for an additional 12-24 months, depending on their nationality.
- International Co-op (Internship) – This work permit allows students to work full-time during standard academic terms.
