Green Card Rejection

Asked by: 214 views USA Immigration

Can a Green Card be rejected under the suspicion of spousal infidelity? I recently had gotten married to my husband who came here from Peru. Our courtship was amazing but, soon after we had gotten married I began to notice that he was spending a lot more time away from home. It was then I realized he had been cheating on me. Once I was able to prove this, the reality settled in that he had used me to obtain a Green Card. However; his Green Card has yet to be issued and we are still waiting on the final paper work. Can a Green Card be rejected under these conditions?

Depending on how far along the process you are, you can try and withdraw the application, or you can mention all of the above during your interview. You can also contact US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) which has a hotline 1(866) DHS-2-ICE.
