Denied entry to Canada due to a 30 year old conviction!

Although I had traveled to Canada many times over the years, I was denied entry in Jan 2013 due to a 30+ year old conviction in the states.

While I was at first reluctant to work with an attorney I had contacted over the Internet, I was very pleased with my decision to use Niren and Associates.

After an iniital consultation with Shabnam, it became clear that I would need to apply for both a TRP and Criminal Rehabilitation. With the assistance od Shabnam and her team, I was granted a TRP at a Port of Entry and can now resume my business trips to Canada.

While the application for a Criminal Rehabilitation will take more time, I am confident that we’ll succeed in getting approval for this as well. Thanks Shabnam for all your help and guidance!

Thank you for your kind words! We are thrilled your TRP was approved so you were able to enter Canada and will work hard so that your Rehabilitation Application will also get approved.  It is amazing how such an old conviction can cause issues at the Canadian border. Thank you for trusting us to help you!

Hi Shab,

It was a little frightening but I got through immigration on Friday with a TRP valid until 31 July.

Ron will scan and send the TRP to you first thing Monday morning and I presume we will have to get an application for an extension under way as soon as possible.

It is absolutely wonderful to be with my husband.  Thank you so much for you help so far.  You and your team has done such a wonderful job taking care of me. Cant you thank you guys enough!

Kind regards.

Temporary Resident Permit Application for Canada Approved…..Again

Temporary Resident Permit Application Approved thanks to Niren and Associates

I wanted to express my Thanks for supporting me with my TRP application.

This is my 5th TRP and I’m looking forward to getting this behind me in ’11.  The application went very well yesterday as I was in and out of the Rainbow Bridge facility in less than 30 minutes.  Frankly, I question how thoroughly they went thru the application, but who cares.  As long as I keep my self out of trouble for the next 12 months I should be Ok for my final TRP prior to the formal rehabilitation to get this DUI off my Canadian record.

Again, Thanks and I’ll be in touch in the Sept/Oct timeframe this year to get the ball rolling again.  If I know of anyone who needs your services I will be sure to recommend Niren and Associates
