3 Categories for the Provincial Nominee Program for Ontario
Immigrants who qualify for the Provincial Nominee Program for Ontario can live in Ontario as permanent residents.
Provincial Nominee Programs are quite popular because they are a faster process than other immigration streams. In most cases, you will require a full-time job offer in Ontario.
Ontario Provincial Nominee Program Categories
1. Foreign Workers: To qualify as a foreign worker, you will need to have a full-time job offer from an eligible Ontario employer that falls into a specific work category, namely a skilled occupation.
2. Investors: You may qualify for this stream of the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program if you are able to invest in an Ontario business that you have an active management role in, and that business creates jobs for Canadians.
3. International Students: If you have graduated from an approved Canadian college or university and you have a job offer, you could be eligible for this program.
Please note: There are many different requirements for employers themselves under the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program, so you will need to make sure that your employer is eligible before you apply.
For example, if the employer is in the Greater Toronto Area, they must have over a million in gross revenue for the previous fiscal year, or $500,000 if they are outside of the GTA. There are also specific requirements for the jobs themselves, meaning they have to be in a skilled occupation, be full-time and permanent and be necessary for the company’s operations.

Spectacular experience. Completely smooth process, they were able to answer any of my questions any time and I had peace of mind throughout the application time, which was invaluable. I have recommended them to other friends looking for assistance with their applications, and will continue to do so. Worth every penny.

Great law firm with great staff. My lawyer Rania did a great job for my Canadian work permit and my daughters study permit. You are great in your work. And my Para Legal officer Alicea, you are just amazing. They did not rest until my job was promptly and properly done. Always there to answer my calls, reply my emails promptly. She tried her best and the results were amazing. I recommend visa place if you need the best immigration job. Many thanks to Rania and Alicea.
