Retired Grandmother Denied Entry To Canada – Five Times

According to this article in the Saskatoon StarPhoenix, a retired grandmother from the Ukraine who wanted to come to Canada and help her daughter with her new twins has been denied entry to Canada five different times since 2010.

The grandmother had valid reasons to visit her daughter each time – to see her new house, to help her daughter while she was going through a risky pregnancy and to see her grandchildren for example.

Each time she was denied, the grandmother was given different reasons for her being denied entry to Canada, including her country of residence, travel history, purpose for her visit and her finances – all alluding to the suspicious she may not leave when her visa expires despite her owning property in the Ukraine and having the majority of her family there.

The family has even considered sponsoring the grandmother to be a permanent resident, but that could take years and cost upwards of $10,000.

Spectacular experience. Completely smooth process, they were able to answer any of my questions any time and I had peace of mind throughout the application time, which was invaluable. I have recommended them to other friends looking for assistance with their applications, and will continue to do so. Worth every penny.

Great law firm with great staff. My lawyer Rania did a great job for my Canadian work permit and my daughters study permit. You are great in your work. And my Para Legal officer Alicea, you are just amazing. They did not rest until my job was promptly and properly done. Always there to answer my calls, reply my emails promptly. She tried her best and the results were amazing. I recommend visa place if you need the best immigration job. Many thanks to Rania and Alicea.
