Express Entry comes to British Columbia

BC - PostThe province of British Columbia has developed its own subcategory of Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s express entry system. It will allow the province to select candidates that will satisfy the economic needs of British Columbia while also offering individuals the chance to immigrate to Canada without a job offer.

The province will nominate candidates who qualify under one of four subcategories, namely: skilled worker, health care professional, graduate student, or post-graduate student while also being eligible for at least one federal immigration program. Further, interested applicants must indicate their preference of relocating to British Columbia in their express entry profile in order to be considered for a provincial nomination. Those selected are then invited to apply for permanent residence and will have their applications managed more efficiently as the express entry program seeks to process files at a faster pace through its electronic platform.

Should I have a valid IELTS score before applying to PNP for immigration in British Columbia, if I have valid IELTS academic score of 6 bands, is it ok or I have to appear in general training format of IELTS. Lastly should I have a job offer before applying or it is not mandatory.

      Hello Akhter,

For British Columbia’s PNP program you will need to take the General training IELTS-the academic test is not accepted. It is typically necessary to have a job offer in order to obtain permanent resident status through this program. Sir, See I am presently trying to get in Canada. Though i m getting responses from Canadian employer as well. But i don’t know why i m not getting visa. I found there are agencies but even they are not that much sure or comfortable that they can led me there. I knew even you will ask money. But what I want to know is there any way that my all paper work done first and then payment will be made in one instant what ever the payment will come.
I knew this will be very hard to do. But this is the only option left behind me.

I will be waiting for response.
