Can a Green Card be rejected under the suspicion of spousal infidelity? I recently had gotten married to my husband who came here from Peru. Our courtship was amazing but, soon after we had gotten married I began to notice that he was spending a lot more time away from home. It was then I realized he had been cheating on me. Once I was able to prove this, the reality settled in that he had used me to obtain a Green Card. However; his Green Card has yet to be issued and we are still waiting on the final paper work. Can a Green Card be rejected under these conditions?

Hi

I am a Canadian citizen working in US for several years on TN. I just changed my TN last month because I switched job and I am getting married to a US citizen next month. My fiance and I plan to visit parents overseas after wedding and worry about changing of status afterwards, but I just found out that might not work as I may not be admitted with my TN again when i return. What should I do then? Am I automatically lost my TN after I got married to a US citizen or can I keep my TN? or can I apply for green card? it’s less than 2 months between my new TN and the wedding date and I am worried that could be a problem.

Thanks

Hello,

I am happy to have found your forum. I have a question regarding immigrating to Canada with a DUI on my record.

I have a job opportunity in Halifax and was under the impression that I would not be able to immigrate to Canada to work due to a past DUI on my record. A friend of mine told me that there were some changes to entry regulations in 2012 that effect people with a DUI? Is my friend correct? I am looking to find some accurate information that may help me pursue my dream of working in Canada.

Thank you!

Jeff
