The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) are Province-based immigration programs to promote migration to specific provinces. Provinces like Alberta, BC and Ontario and others have PNP programs targeted to increase immigration levels to their provinces. PNPs each have their own set of rules and procedures so it is important that before applying for a PNP, you know what the rules are. Also you are always subject to medical and criminal background checks regardless of what PNP you choose.
