Can someone explain the difference between a U.S. Green Card and a Canada Green Card?

    There is no such thing as a “Canadian Green Card“. Green Card is a term used for the document conferring US Permanent Residence. In Canada, we call that document a PR Card or Permanent Residence Card.
    Once you are a Permanent resident in either Canada and the US, you have to meet certain residency obligations which differ between the countries.
