“If you have an immigration problem, you’ll need an expert in that field because even the politicians who write the laws don’t understand them. So, yes, you’ll need someone who is unquestionably an expert in this highly specialized field. But what you need beyond that is integrity, honesty and accessibility. Michael Niren is the “name” in the firm Michael Niren & Associates. That’s the lawyer (and company) you’ll need.” November 26, 2011

Hello Fadi: I just wanted to send a note of thanks to you for the wonderful guidance you have provided since our first meeting in August 2011. As you are aware Gail and myself have been approved for a five year – E-2 visa and will be moving to Tennessee in approx. 1 month time. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the results. After looking at what went into this “project”, I cannot imagine anyone looking to immigrate to the U.S. not hiring your firm to represent them. These are sometimes very stressful and major life altering decisions being made and your expertise and guidance was (and is) very much appreciated. The forms, paperwork and process is so complex, the average layman would be forever lost in trying the immigration procedure without your assistance. Knowing I could pick up the phone, or e mail your office, I always received a courteous, prompt, and factual reply and sometimes a calming chat. For that thank you. Laura Eaton has been working very closely with us from the beginning and was always quick to call … Show full review

The personal service that I received at Niren and Associates was fantastic. I had a major problem getting approved for Nexus which almost left me unable to enter Canada. With the help of Mary, she was able to cure my problem in a most reasonable period of time. Mary, was able to explain very clearly the Canadian laws that applied to my case which no one else seemed to be able to do. Armed with the information that Mary was able to convey to me, I was able to be admitted into the Nexus program! I plan on using Niren and Associates in the future for other matters that relate to my US based Company and its employees. Also, I will definitely recommend this firm to my other colleagues both in Canada and the US that need help with immigration matters. Thanks again!

Response from the owner

Best of luck in your cross border travels! Sincerely Michael Niren

Asher Frankel has been extremely helpful in helping to push along a high level executive and his family (Australian citizens) stuck at the U.S. consulate Calgary in Administrative Processing. He was able to obtain additional information and expedite the process. Asher was recommended by our associate and has used Mr. Frankel in the past with excellent results. If you need his services, please request his fees in advance as he worked on the current case gratis to establish a relationship with the firm.

Response from the owner
Dear Paul Thank you for the kind words about Mr. Frankel. Asher is a top-notch corporate immigration lawyer and we are thrilled he has joined us. Best of luck Sincerely Michael Niren

As I celebrate my approved LMO work permit, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Michael’s assistant, her assistant Amy Shen and their team who have helped making my tough case possible. Before Niren, I met other firms for immigration aids but none of them was able to help me through my unique situation. Some of whom would not even bother to answer my questions until I sign up their service. During one of the most anguished and distressed times in Canadian immigration matters, Amy has devoted her time and efforts to my cases by skillfully and prudently guided me through the maze to solution-oriented strategies. With their tireless commitment and passion, they turn challenges into opportunities. It is certainly rewarding to know if their accomplishment would once again produce the same commendable result in my other case. Thank you!

Response from the owner
Thank you CL for your comments  Our assistants are a great asset to our firm and I am thrilled she and the team was able to assist you. We take on many tough cases and really feel great when we are successful. All the Best Michael Niren

Hello , I am a Canadian living with my Australian husband in Australia, we would like to make a permanent move to Canada within the next five years, can you please tell me what is the best plan of action to get this process started and how long it is likely to take, Thanks for your time.

Hello Vanessa. The spousal sponsorship will take approximately 25 months if you are both in Canada, or approximately 18 months if you are outside of Canada. Other factors that you have to consider are whether your husband will want to travel in and out of Canada while the sponsorship application is in progress, and if he wished to work in Canada during that application time period.
      Regards, Vahe
