Thanksgiving to Canada

On this Thanksgiving Day (yesterday) and day of the elections (today) I have a “double reason” to reflect on what I have to be thankful for. My parents immigrated to Canada for a better life and though I can attest that it is a challenge for a family to start out in a new country with no relatives within thousands of miles, growing up in Canada gave me many benefits my cousins overseas could never have.

And the opportunity to vote today gives me a chance to have my say in making sure Canada stays the best country in the world to live in!

For those interested in immigrating to Canada, I can only say from the experience of my family that it was a good decision and one that I personally will never regret.
