What to do if you are denied entry to Canada
Even if you have all of your travel perfectly planned, a valid passport, have been to Canada before and have paid in full for your trip and accommodations, you can still be denied entry to Canada. 
There are many reasons someone can be denied entry to Canada – you may have been allowed into Canada previously, but an immigration official may decide that this time around there is a valid reason to prevent you from entering the country. Sometimes, it can be something as small as a minor criminal offense you were convicted of decades ago.
If you have already been denied entry to Canada
If you have already been denied entry to Canada, you can apply for a Temporary Resident Permit. This is the best option for travelers who have to enter Canada immediately or are at risk of having their plans ruined because they could not cross the border, because a Temporary Resident Permit can be approved and granted at the border.
If you are worried about being denied entry to Canada
If you have not yet tried to cross the border into Canada but are worried about being denied entry into Canada, you can still apply for a Temporary Resident Permit. You can also apply to have your criminal offense officially pardoned.
