Immigration to Canada from the UK

(Below is a transcription of this video)

Hello. My name is Michael Niren. I’m an Immigration Lawyer and Founder of This is a video for U.K. nationals, people from the United
Kingdom who are interested in immigration to Canada. The U.K. is a major
source of immigration for Canada. We have a long history together.

Benefits for Immigrating to Canada from the UK

Our two countries go very far back and I’m happy to report that many people
from the U.K. come to Canada to not only visit, work, or study, but also to
immigrate permanently. The good news for U.K. nationals is that if you do
come to Canada to visit you don’t need a visa.

Other countries do require a visa but from the U.K. you don’t. You can
arrive by plane and be admitted to Canada generally pretty easily. However
if you want to work, or study, or immigrate, you will need a special
permit, a special landed immigrant visa to qualify.

How We Can Help with Immigrating to Canada from the UK

So we handle a lot of U.K. applications for Canada and we’re looking
forward to continuing to help our U.K. friends come to Canada under the
various immigration categories. Some come as Federal Skilled Workers. They
have a lot of credentials. Most of them speak English very well so that
really, really helps. But there’s different ways of getting permanent
residence and temporary work visas and study visas to Canada for U.K.

So if you are from the U.K. and you’re interested in Canada immigration,
come and give us a call. Go to our website at
