Barack Obama's Views on Immigration

In 2005 Barack Obama cosponsored the Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act, a bill to improve border security and immigration.  He also supported the Secure Fence Act of 2006 that allows for a double-reinforced fence to be built between California and Texas in areas that have been prone to illegal drug trafficking and illegal immigration.

Now that Obama has been elected as new President of the United States, what might his plans be for the issue of immigration? Here are his views on immigration as of an interview on June 18, 2008:
