For all you comic book, movie and action figure fans, no better place to hang than Comic-Con
The convention this year is huge and allows us “grown ups” to be no so, well, grown up. I like super heroes, especially because many of them happen to be outcasts, minorities and misunderstood.
Superman after all is an “immigrant” from Krypton who came to this world with nothing but a broken pod. He managed to grow up, integrate in his small town Smallville, get a job in the big city, Metropolis as a reporter while fighting crime in his spare time.
Superman’s story is not unlike many immigrants who come to our shores from far away lands with hope and dreams for a better future. Many come with nothing and make it big. Art imitates life some times.
